Ok to all the people going yes no carry over or stop complaining it was a beta, please consider the fact that character attachment happens fast and hard why do you think fanfiction is so large but still the gear can be earned but characters and progress loss can be a big punch to the gut though I am glad I didn't farm....

Put a memorial in the tower.... for all the guardians who died, so that we can be hear now.

1 ReplyWell it was fun... Getting rank 3 in vanguard, finding every bug imaginable, and attaining 800 grimore in our short journey together was a grand adventure to say the least... Alas, I digress, and will see another Titan guardian in a month... And we shall be reunited, and yes it will feel so good.

1 Replywouldve been cool if you had saved the models of what the top 10 players in the beta had been wearing when it finished and had those people appear sometimes in the tower walking around, awesome in a few years when new people are introduced to the game, "oh look theres one of the original guardians" no?

I'm glad we don't keep our guardians because I made mine look stupid and I didn't want to create another guardian and be behind cause the look of my character.

4 RepliesTrue, many people played the beta. Some created guardians as many times as they could, others found rare items that well exceeded any player level, but above all else... We learned! We learned the fighting styles of enemies, we learned the basics of sparrows, we learned tactics for the crucible, and we learned enough to jump square into the game rather than play around in the tower... Why? Cause we already did! I am sad to see my Warlock go, but happy to know i'll leave noobs in the dust as I race through missions. I am a Beater, and I'm damn proud!

1 ReplyTotally agree that we all start from scratch , but for those of us that also did the alpha as well as beta can you not put a little something in our post box maybe (the besthivesmashingfallenbustingwizardshredding) or some other small token .First time with bungie never played halo but something in Destiny got me hooked see you on launch day (feel like bursting into buzz lightyear) infinity and ok you get the gist regrds Legomanpete

I'm so excited for the game, but had a nightmarish thing happen to day. I pre-ordered the Ghost Edition at GameStop one month ago, to the day. Actually, it was a transfer of my original preorder, to order the Collector Ghost version of the game. I checked the receipts in my wallet today, to ensure everything was still in place, and saw the words Call of Duty: Advanced Warfighter on my receipt in place of what I thought was Destiny: Ghost Edition. I completely lost my shit... so my wife and I drove down to Gamestop where the error occurred. I know what is going on with ebay, and every store being sold out of pre-orders as they aren't making any more... so I was a bit flustered, like somebody just stole my winning lottery ticket on the drive to cash it in, flustered. The employees at Gamestop checked all their stocks and skus and told me there is nothing they can do except come back on the 1st and get on the cancellation list. I am in panic mode and unsure what to do, as it was quite important to me as a collector to have the Ghost Edition. I do not have enough or I would buy on ebay. My options are either wait in line at Best Buy, Target, or Toys R Us I guess. I feel like such a dope for not checking my receipt. Let this be a lesson to all of you! Any advice is hugely appreciated.

I wish that at the end of the beta instead of us automatically logging off and being given a thank you message for participating in the beta that they would do something else something memerable that you talk about not an event per se but like a funny but twisted forced death[spoiler]like a random little girl coming up to you and stabbing you with a sword 4X bigger than her[/spoiler]
