Why was EXO your chosen race? I was going as an Awoken, but after seeing the Appleseed films. I think I'll go EXO. Apparently Briareos, was Bungie's idea for EXOs too. http://i.imgur.com/QhLqetL.jpg

Duh, it's a playable robot race, what's not to like?
-
From the start I wanted to be the Hunter ( don't hate ) because I'm typically really good at sniping and just liked the idea of it and because to me it was kind the sniper class I figured robots take out human error no human error= boss and boss sounding sniper so I used the exo and then fell in love with the race and decided to use it on every class
-
Because whats more Scarier than a Killer Robot with a high powered Rifle and a Knife
A Data Knife to the head
-
The old comic book series ABC Warriors included a chaos magician mechanoid called Deadlock.
-
I went Exo because i didnt like the design of the other races honestly. The male humans and awoken have fat faces to me and i dont play females, when given the choice, like some weird dudes i know. and im not sexist i just find it weird to play out of your gender.
-
Because why would you want to play a boring human or one of those silly awoken chums when you could be a friggin' robot?
-
Appleseed...I haven't watched that animé in a long time. Back on point, I made one of both each class and species. Hunter and Exo just went together in my head. For me, long range recce and survivability in a devastated wasteland just screamed android. No doubt all the Terminator and other similar films as and anime I've watched over the years influenced the thought process.

Becomes exos will exist.
-
After a century dirt napping in a Russian junkyard, I figured a human/awoken would just be bones, rattling around in armour. Made more sense that a cyborg Exo could be kick started back to life. Plus I loved the 2000AD comic series ABC Warriors as a kid.
google time folks
The lack of any facial expression whatsoever while dancing in the tower is what dissuaded me from playing the biological races. If a robot doesn't have an expression, its not creepy.
-
I love Appleseed. :o
-
Exos just looked the most badass to me. Lol
-
Because I wrote an awesome backstory and want to keep writing about the exo wars, plus robots are kick ass.
-
I like technology and I often use my motorcycle as inspiration when a game allows me to.
-
I just loved the way they looked and how different they could be just by giving them a different colour. I can't wait to recreate my BETA EXO on the 9th.
-
Because it made sense to me that a hunter would be an EXO. Sure they were war machines, but a scout sniper is the most dangerous part of an army so there must've been a few EXO hunters.
-
Edited by Teligth: 8/7/2014 10:49:04 PMTo be honest, they just looked cool too me. They also are way different that any other playable race I've seen before. So between humans and purple elfs, Exos were the obvious choice.
-
I love the Exo bio.
-
Playable robots > playable lizard people > playable humans/ blue humans. Lets make it happen bungie.
-
Would you believe that I chose them for their dance moves?
-
It's the EASTER BUNNINATOR!!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!! Purple Ball protect me!!!
-
Because they had a ton of different-looking options in character creation, as opposed to a few similar faces with horrible hairstyles.
-
I was an exo in the alpha and beta. But then I saw him with a cape. Holy crap robots look dumb with capes..
-
Just wanted to say thank you all for your imput. But please continue posting, I'm enjoying reading everyone's opinions. Oh and a BIG thank you for keeping it clean.
-
I originally in the alpha had a hunter human but I made another character after that a warlock Exo and I grew attached to the species and class so I chose Exo for the beta and put it in the warlock class so when the full game comes out I'll make a warlock Exo because I love the way Exo's look and I like the warlock class since warlock is awesome

Exos retain enough humanness to like, and have the advantage that they don't need oxygen to function. We can work in more severe conditions that our human and awoken counterparts. Loose an arm in combat? Build and install a new one. As a Titan too this seems even more fitting. Built to defend humanity as the ultimate fighting machines before; reactivated to do it again.
