Minecraft Xbox One & PS4 Release Date Confirmed!
Yes everyone it is here. Minecraft for the next gen will be releasing on August 19th. The versions for the game will be the same as our last gen, TU14. Most of our DLC Skin Packs and Textures will transfer but some are caught in contracts. (Not that anyone bought them anyway... Lol) Anyway I found out through Gamestop.com, When I looked for Next-Gen Minecraft I found the Next-Gen version upgrades and packages for 5$ (For those who owned it on the Xbox 360/PS3) And 20$ (For those who haven't) Thanks for reading and no I am not bull pooping you guys. It is true. If you don't believe me, Go to Gamestop.Com and look up "Minecraft Xbox One" And it will be there. Again, Thanks for reading. :3

That was more than likely only an estimate. The game still has to go through Microsoft Cert Testing (at least for the Xbox), which still hasn't happened. For updates, the cert testing took a week or two, which makes that date seem pretty unlikely for the actual release.

It also only says August 19th on the app the website hasn't updated yet.
