Dark souls 1, dark souls 2 doesnt have the same feel
-
One was by far the best DS. The second one bored me.

Its one of my all time favorite games, but the thought of trudging through Blighttown again on 360 makes me cringe. I really wish they would give it the remaster treatment they gave DS2. On topic: I guess DS1 is better. Idk. I love them pretty much equally.

1 for gameplay, fun, parrying and rolling. 2 for gameplay, fun and rolling.
Therefore 1 is better.
1 for gameplay 2 for storytelling
-
1 was awesome. 2 was bigger and had more viable builds. I still love 1 more.
-
1 obviously
-
Dark souls 2 has more fluid player interaction. Great Co op and pvp. (Despite over powered weapons and lag) Dark souls had this sense of originality and great campaign which made everything felt interactive
-
Dark Souls 1 is the better game, Dark Souls 2 is more accessible, but not as rewarding.

Dark Souls 1. It had great level design, weapons had unique move sets. Varied boss fights and more interesting lore. Darks Souls 2 is still a great game, has a brilliant PvP experience and that 60fps on SotFS is awesome.
DS1 > DS2
Story and better overall game:Dark souls I Better mechanics and easier to control and no blight town: Dark Souls II

I have fonder memories of Dark Souls 1 because it was the first one I played and therefore my introduction to the series. It felt like a different experience as I went through it and got rekt and enjoyed every moment. The sense of awe, if you will. That being said, I did enjoy the second one as well, it just didn't hit me as hard since I had already spent so much time playing the first one (and getting 1000 gamerscore.)

Either

Definitely 1. I can't stand 2 after playing Demons and Das1, it just feels so slow
-
I love both but i think Dark Souls 2 takes it for me, espically with the DLC.
-
I prefer 1, but also really enjoy 2 - especially SotFS.

I love both

Both bruh. I switch back nd forth. Granted I play both for pvp purposes

Dark Souls 1 PvE was pretty cool. The boss designs and most of their music are amazing (Ornstein and Smough, Iron Golem, Seath the Scaleless, Gwyn The Lord of Cinder). Some areas were pretty memorable too such as Anor Londo, Lost Izalith, and of course, Blighttown. There were some pretty broken builds in DS1 PvP (the infamous giantdad, darkmoon blade + falchion) but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Dark Souls 2 PvE was okay I guess. The only bosses I really remember are mainly the ones in the DLC (Fume Knight, Sir Alonne, Burnt Ivory King). I didn't really like the level designs in this game because they don't seem connected. For example, you're in a poisonous mining area and when you pass the boss you go up an elevator and you're suddenly at a lava castle. It's PvP is kinda good. The only thing that really annoys me is the lag stabs honestly. There are many weapons and armies to choose from to make a build of your own, the Fashion Souls is strong in this one.
