This little guy is the Red Eyes Crocodile Skink. They're shy and get to about seven inches long, living about six years. They enjoy humid weather though are part of the rare group of reptiles that actually prefer cooler weather. Fairly easy to take care of, especially for those that are accustomed to caring for our cold blooded friends. The best news? You can buy them at most reptile stores such as LLLReptile (which I happen to have right in my town!)
