The "Tower" in beta had a bunch of odd gimmicks that was cleverly put around the area. Since it is a social area they devs cleverly placed a "fan trampoline" that is powered by two. A odd servitor looking ball that is pushed around and almost weightless. Then finally the fan favorite a soccer ball, which had really no purpose to be in a futuristic atmosphere but kind and thoughtful. The idea I'm guessing is that the devs are obviously trying to make the tower more social. Although the key part of the game is shooting up the baddies in a very well performing unique experience. They might got something up their sleeves with this. But at the moment it did seem more of a testing reaction and it was awfully hilarious when I kick the ball off the tower and 5 guys die chasing it.
