I noticed a "spike" visual glitch after visiting the Hunter vanguard to collect one of the mission rewards. This spike pointed back there as I walked away, but only appeared when viewed from certain angles. It even cast a shadow! It seemed to extend from the left shoulder, and I don't recall what gauntlets were equipped. I do know it was a Hunter female, and I play the PS4 version of the game. I exited to orbit and returned to the tower, and it still (occasionally) appeared. I hope these screen caps are helpful.
