Overall, weapons drops can ve fairly difficult to see amidst all te rubble, grass, other ammo pickup etc. Why not put a small pillar of light above weapon drops like diablo 3 or Borderlands does? A small simple fix helps when i am a good distance away and i miss out on uncommons or rares because i cant see them from that far away using a sniper! Anyone agree?

The original drops were much smaller tiny like little ammo cases to amend this they've made encrypted engrams large green drops that glow very brightly. The regular drops are the same shape but stand higher off the ground than an ammo case. A dark environment should not prevent you from seeing these since they are literally beacons of light in the darkness.

All opinions welcome! Please make your voices heard, if we can get this liked up maybe bungie will see it and give it some thought

I agree. Playing on the 360 I sometimes confuse the indoor lighting with common gear and ammo drops. Am I the only one? The small rectangular lights on stairways are about the same size and shape as ammo. And some of the floodlights look like they could be gear from a distance. Also the common gear blends in with snow making it hard to see.

Edited by IamPluto: 7/25/2014 9:30:28 PMI was pretty sure they fixed this during the maintenance. It wasn't stated, but the game became a little darker and the orbs seemed much brighter. And no I didn't change my TV settings.

I can always see my uncommon drops they're pretty bright but the white ones commonly get lost in the stacks of ammo on the ground
