The attached image is what it's telling me when I try to enter any of the three codes I have received. However, If I were to enter a faulty code, the message is different. What gives?

I just got off of support with Xbox to find out that i did not have a Gold Membership. It never dawned on me because i was still able to play multiplayer and chat with friends so go under you subscriptions in the settings menu and make sure you have Gold.
