I know this may seem simple, but when walking through really dark areas, such as caves to look for chests, or hives to get xp and such, it'd be nice to be able to turn on a light. I am aware of Ghosts ability that when you toggle him, he scans around and you get a small and quick view of the room. What I would like is to have a solid light trust turns on and off to the players will, not at certian points.

Awesome idea. I was thinking this myself the other day.
-
That would be very handy. I've been in a few spots that got so dark, i missed a doorway and ended up turned around and headed in the wrong direction.
-
Being able to toggle the flashlight on or off would indeed be a very useful and welcome addition.
-
I haven't seen any areas where i need a flashlight. Besides the areas where the ghost do it.
-
they could do it. they still haven't utilized the touch pad, not like other games have utilized it. they just have the press on it for your like mission pop up thing but they haven't used swipe features. i would like if they put the super on it so you would just have to swipe up or w.e to use it.i think it would be a waste not to use it for something.

I agree. It would be nice to be able to toggle a flashlight, e.g. Fallout. I went to backtrack over a section and it was dark as hell. Found myself bumping into walls all the time;)
-
I agree as well.
-
Agreed. I've had some dark spots where my ghost didn't turn on my light, and I really wished I could do it myself.
-
Great idea...I agree
-
Yup i agree too
-
Agreed. There are certain places underground where I have trouble seeing where I am supposed to go because it is imply to dark to see walls. There was one particular area where a certain area was lit up, where I was supposed to go, but the rest of the room was pitch black, but since there was a lit area the ghost's flashlight did not turn on. Rather annoying.

I agree, some areas in the game are pretty dark even when Ghost does his best to light every thing up.
-
i think it should be like the version in the first 12 min game play where it flew around

Edited by Mordicon: 7/24/2014 12:25:40 AMI couldn't agree more, there have been several occasions where I would be in a cave or the catacombs, and I find myself having to spam the scan ability of activating my Ghost (or 'Dinkle bot', if u catch my reference ;p), the effect of which seems more of an aesthetic rather then an actual utility. whereas the ability to manually activate his flashlight (or torch), would be much better. perhaps binding it to a D pad function after activating your ghost would work? or even just a forward swipe on the touch pad would work well. ohh and on a side note, wouldn't you think that centuries in the future we would have some sort of epic flashlight attached to a freaaking self-aware, levitating, Traveler spawned, super O.W.L.??? I mean really what kind of lumens does that flashlight have, like 50? it diffuses after 15m! I realize that its supposed to add to the suspense, but seriously...

Lol how is this trending I did this the other day... Anyway I agree. They should jus map it to L3 and R3 simultaneously

Agreed!

-
+1 I agree. I would like to be able to use the light at my leisure.
-
Totally agree
-
Yes totally agree!
-
agreed. they should move things to the D-pad and keep the character animations but make them only enable when you hold it for like 2 seconds. Other than that a "click" enabled action should be toggle flashlight, maybe zoom in sniper or even throwing knife so you can decide to melee or knife, your choice. Just my opinion —

Totally Agree :)

If you come across areas that are too dark you have your brightness settings wrong - increase them. The game is designed for you to be able to see any area that the ghosts light doesn't appear. Also make sure dynamic contrast is turned off on your tv - terrible function for gaming.

Yes please!

Agree! Please add this! So simple yet so frustrating
