The Crucible Confession
I've seen quite a couple of posts about how one or two bad players in a PvP team can spoil it for everyone. I want to clear the air and admit - I am that terrible player. Look at my stats, no lies. I am sorry. If you see me in your team - despair!

Other times, I practice my grenade tossing abilities by passing it like a hot potato to other teammates. I prefer that the flags stay red because its my favorite color. I like to take the heavy ammo and jump off the edge of the map because I fall faster since I'm heavier. When Im fireteam leader, I actively look for fires to put out with my gun. And I treat my KD like a golf scoreboard: the lower the better! Be brave.

I suck as well. But that's okay the more I play the more I will get better. Plus it's a blast playing

Same here! Destiny is the first FPS I get into since completely sucking at Quake 2 about a century ago... I'm really enjoying PvE, but yesterday I tried the Crucible for the first time and got throughly thrashed :-/ I couldn't do anything besides spawning and getting blown up immediately. I hope I'll get better with practice, or that the final game will have enough PvE content to keep me entertained.

Couldn't agree more, my first match of PvP i got killed in the first 30 secs without even seeing another player. But then again its hard enough when faced up against higher level players.

Like alot of you I am the same if not worse, :( .27 KD in Crucible. If we all stick with it, it has to improve right.... I hope.. I can imagine what some of my teammates say after matches, especially after watching twitch feeds and hearing some of the comments about noobs. My average kills have gone up from 1-2 to 4-6, but I still die a whole lot. Oh well it is all in fun and I hope we all stick with it and practice and get better!

Loving PVP :) You can be smart and help win games without having great aim! My K/D won't ever be great but then I run to objectives continuously . If you want a good K/D then just Defend one flag and stay in one spot.

Im the same way but I need to be smarter than my Quake 3 abd TF2 tactics, run in and be quick. Its getting me killed on regular.

3 RepliesEveryone just needs to practise and improve, I'm very good on shores of time, but awful on first light, so that tells me I need to improve on maps with vehicles!

19 RepliesThere is a difference between someone bad in PVP and someone not skilled in PVP. A "Bad" PVP person is the a-hole that runs from the objective before it's captures, leaves a teammate to fend for himself in a firefight, is there to do nothing but stroke his K/D, aka the lone wolf type. I don't care if you are 1 and 30 on my team as long as you are playing with the team and legitimately trying. It's a team game and people should work as a team. Teams overcome a single persons skill level.

Edited by NinjaCoby: 7/24/2014 8:40:18 AMHey check my stats every crucible game I have ever played, yes every one at-least 4 of my team mates have less then a 1.0 kd they are always below 0.90. So bad teammates doesn't matter just enjoy it while playing because you only do bad if your bad or you are mad while playing, don't ever get mad and you will do good. Also I have won over 96 matches and loss maybe 7 at-least.

Holy smokes I felt bad yesterday. Joined a Crucible match, but somehow the match was almost over. I got one kill and was somehow the only guy in the team to get a reward. Luckily it wasn't anything special!

No worries, during the beta I've been using this time to explore the matchmaking maps and get accustom to my class of choice. It is a game after all no stress. Until the game launches then gtfo. lol
