Public Events need Tweeking

The events themselves are pretty awesome, but I've had a number of experiences where I was either totally alone or had one other low-level player with me. Normally this isn't too much of an issue, especially for one of the easier events in the steppes or mothyards, but I had a few that were downright impossible. I'm sure some of you have faced the spider walker in the divide (for me it was a Noble walker), perhaps with maybe only one other player. Unless you've got like three heavy ammo consumables, those things are not going down within the time limit. At the Skywatch, I've had two warsat events. The one closer to the lunar complex wasn't too difficult, but the one closer to the hive dropship was a nightmare. I had only one other player with me, and we were up against about 6 major knights all shielded and armed with boomers, two wizards, a few major captains, a bunch of ultra vandals, and who knows how many acolytes. It was a warzone, and we couldn't even get close to the satellite. Likewise, at the forgotten shore, I had to kill an level 5 ultra captain. Problem was, his shields were virtually impregnable. I tried everything: Supers, grenades, heavies, I just kept pumping rounds into him nonstop and his shields never broke. I ran completely dry before I could do any damage to him. I guess it would have been easier if other players were attacking him at the same time, but that's the problem. There's almost never any other players around. I understand it's the beta and there aren't as many players, but you really expect me to believe that you couldn't pull in other players in the area from other instances? Or at least scale down the difficulty to accommodate?

  • Or the event icon should be able to be seen from other areas. People aren't at a lot of the events because we never know where it's happening. I understand it's cool when a warship randomly appears and drops hordes of enemies but it's a nightmare when it's just you and there's 20 other people in a area right down the road who don't even know what's happening...
