I'm not saying this is wrong, its just an observation so the reader or bungie will have to look at this in a tactical / strategic sense if this is what is wanted.
I come from playing Dust since their Alpha with a great mercenary clan and a deep sense of overall strategy and applied tactics.
PvP lacks this.
We are thrust into mainly CQC scenarios. You have no definitive spawn point so you are rotating through the last known safe objectives which are constantly rotating creating a hot-potato atmosphere.
I really dislike this. I don't say that in a "I can't handle this" moment but it's hard to setup and execute proper strategies and the local tactics are forever shifting.
I like to think, fortify, hold, and execute objectives. Currently I vacillate from all out CQC to head on a swivel because I'm not sure if the enemy teams next spawn will be right behind me instead of a logical point in front of me.
This may be what you are looking for, but I would request this be thought about on the levels of a bit more military-eske implementations to allow for a stronger sense of gaming mechanics/intelligence.
I disclaim that your other game modes may make this comment obsolete. However for now its just a viewpoint from a fireteam that enjoys squad mechanics.
