I was playing the Strike mission, and mid fight I decided to swap out my shotgun for my fusion rifle. Upon doing so however, I somehow lost all my special ammo, AND the ability to melee! I don't care about the ammo as I got that back pretty much immediately, but melee is a pretty important part of the game and it leaves me at quite a disadvantage. I of course tried restarting the game, rebooting my PS4, as well as starting a new character and playing through the tutorial level again. Still not able to melee on either characters! I also tried switching controllers as I thought it might have broken, but both controllers are behaving in the same way. Next thing I'm going to try is reinstalling the game, but does anyone know if that will wipe my characters? My instinct says no as it's tied to my account, but just to be 100% sure.
