I have a little problem with linking my PSN account.

I had an old PSN account linked to my profile and I made a new one because I really didn't like the name and I was switching to PS4 so I felt like it would be the best time to start fresh. The only problem is, whenever I try to unlink my old PSN account from my profile and link a new one it automatically relinks the old account, giving me no option to change the account over to the new one. I could make a new profile on Bnet for my new account, but I'd rather not because of the amount of time I've had this one and I like to keep things together.

  • Here's what you need to do. 1) log into your b.net account with the old PSN credentials 2) create a Microsoft/gmail/Facebook account 3) link the account to your b.net profile 4) log out 5) clear your browser cache 6) log in using the credentials for the Microsoft/gmail/Facebook account you just linked 7) unlink your old PSN 8) link the new PSN

    • This is an issue with your login cookie for PSN persisting even after logging out of Bungie.net. The fast way to solve this issue is to unlink your old PSN account, clear your browser cookies, log back into Bungie.net, and then attempt to link your new PSN account.

      • Whew after a very confusing bit of working around and accidentally creating a third account rather then simply a second one I finally got it to work! Thanks for the help!
