Bosses should drop loot
Please let bosses drop loot. I killed Sepiks several times and he never dropped loot. Just the Summary at the end. I think he should drop those shiny engrams.

Nothing over the top, but some form of loot/glimmer on the boss body would be nice.

The spider tank should drop something too, theres no real reason for loot grinding through strikes

I agree with this as well. doesn't have to necessarily be a guaranteed green or higher but should drop something.

It'd be good to have some drops. Though it would add to the borderlands-y feel.

I do agree that there could be a 'little something' at the end of each boss, but I wouldn't want to see them as loot pinatas.

The loot is pretty poor however they do drop it, compared to the Alpha the Drop rate has been lowered considerably, normally the main bosses drop Ether Seeds or a House banner which can easily be missed as they appear as a Small White Pyramid shape, unless you physically look around like you dropped your keys you wont see it.

Engrams would be good. I'm with everyone that it doesn't need to be a pinata but SOMETHING dropping as a reward for all the effort. It's super fun and pretty intense sometime and then you get essentially nothing, it's a little anti climatic and kind of a buzz kill

I completely agree - Especially on higher difficulty levels. I feel like there are ready and easily accessed rewards in PVP. I am not a PVPer. I am absolutely a PVEer, and hope that the loot will be on par with the PVP loot. That was always the problem with Many mmorpgs. The PVP loot is almost god-like, and the PVE loot is often second rate.

I totally agree. This is just a fundamental part of RPG games from D&D to WOW. Its also just super fun to have the boss rain treasure. Why give us the loot at the end screen when it could explode from the bosses writhing husk?

Agreed! It would be much more satisfying to see a reward fly out of a dead boss.

1 ReplyFor the first time kill with that character, you should definitely get 100% guaranteed loot. Repeated kills for farming should then be made as random drops thereafter. Setting the difficulty higher, first time kills again gives loot and goes back to random when you have it on farm. That's how I see it.

MEGA AGREE Especially those pesky ass Devil walkers and sepiks prime. Not the ones with yellow hp bars though, those are way to common

I agree with Phane. The first time you fight it then a guaranteed drop of an Engram would be great, but running it again afterwards should be a random drop. Perhaps base it on a hidden luck percentage or maybe by contribution to the fight itself.
