Please let bosses drop loot. I killed Sepiks several times and he never dropped loot. Just the Summary at the end. I think he should drop those shiny engrams.

He does drop loot. If you go to below where he died or around that area, you should find a house banner

Sure why not. I love loot, who doesn't. As another poster said, when you've spent 10 minutes chipping away at a bosses health while dealing with his minions it's nice to get a reward ( or at least the possibility of a reward ).

+2000000000

Engrams would be good. I'm with everyone that it doesn't need to be a pinata but SOMETHING dropping as a reward for all the effort. It's super fun and pretty intense sometime and then you get essentially nothing, it's a little anti climatic and kind of a buzz kill
-
Yes but not overpowered loot, leave that to the end credits, or the other way around.

I completely agree - Especially on higher difficulty levels. I feel like there are ready and easily accessed rewards in PVP. I am not a PVPer. I am absolutely a PVEer, and hope that the loot will be on par with the PVP loot. That was always the problem with Many mmorpgs. The PVP loot is almost god-like, and the PVE loot is often second rate.

For the first time kill with that character, you should definitely get 100% guaranteed loot. Repeated kills for farming should then be made as random drops thereafter. Setting the difficulty higher, first time kills again gives loot and goes back to random when you have it on farm. That's how I see it.

I agree completely.

AGREED! Way too much work to walk away with nothing.

MEGA AGREE Especially those pesky ass Devil walkers and sepiks prime. Not the ones with yellow hp bars though, those are way to common
-
I AGREE!;)
-
That's true I always hope for a drop but I never get anything. That's like my only problem to be honest
-
I completely agree! I still run beneath him expecting something to drop.
-
Agreed! It would be much more satisfying to see a reward fly out of a dead boss.
-
Some bosses already drop loot and others don't, it's really just your bad luck dude. I don't think Bungie has put a high drop rate anyways. You don't have a 100% chance at getting drops you know.
-
Unique bosses should drop unique loot but not always. Farming sorry to be another person who says this but I truly feel that borderlands nailed the weapons, abilities, looting, and customizations systems.
-
Yes! Bosses should definitely drop loot!!

PREPARE YOURSELF, I AM ABOUT TO MAKE THE JOKES >.> Every boss should be treated as a pinyata, exploding on death into a massive pile of doughnuts, glimer, candy canes, and scantily clad dancing women/men (toggable from the menu so that you see what you want to. I would assume women would prefer to have male dancers, because I know I'd prefer female dancers) that can be upgraded with costumes found in game. Like belly dancer uniforms for the female dancers and firemen uniforms for the men. Naked aprons are universal, all hail the naked apron. THE JOKES ARE OVER, SERIOUSNESS FOLLOWS, BEWARE! I do think that boss deaths are somewhat under celebrated at the moment. Glimmer and other small rocks I assume might be their internal organs crystalizing in the atmosphere happen to hit the floor, but it just... doesn't have zing. Pizzazz. Firing glimmer and other things up into the sky and landing all over the place like a crazy fountain of glimmering blood or what have you would make it more dynamic. Still, raids award greens from the end screen in addition to whatever you happen scavenge from captains or others on the way there. There's more than enough engrams coming out atm, GREEN ones anyway. I found a blue hat, that's lvl 10, and I don't even know where or how but I'm sure it was from the raid. I do think that we need to see a higher chance for low level blues and purples coming out of a raid boss like Sepiks, but I REALLY don't think they need to go to the borderlands extreme lootsauce spewing out of a boss. One boss spewed out enough to fill a map, and it was all uber rares and such. Completely unnecessary in the MMO format, but fun in the offline format. Destiny needs to keep rares rare, so doing the borderlands style loot spew would just shatter that.

I totally agree. This is just a fundamental part of RPG games from D&D to WOW. Its also just super fun to have the boss rain treasure. Why give us the loot at the end screen when it could explode from the bosses writhing husk?

Like the spider tank in devils lair!
