Meanwhile in 25% VAT Sweden.
I've seen some complaints from British and even some American players that Destiny costs too much.
I decided to look up what the preliminary prices for Destiny are here in Sweden. All prices are including VAT (value added tax which is 25% on games, movies, etc).
Standard Edition. 599 SEK = $88 = £52
Limited Edition. 1295 SEK = $191 = £112
Collector's Edition. 1795 SEK = $265 = £155
Hopefully the prices will be lowered before launch. I remember that they lowered the price for the Halo Reach Limited Edition about one month before it released.

1 ReplyUs in the UK aren't complaining about paying vat, it's the fact they haven't used any form of currency conversion for their prices. It's a straight $1 = £1 on the pricing which is just a farce tbh.
