I did a small project on the Quran and it's relationship with numbers.

It was too long for me to type in a thread so I uploaded it as a word document. http://www.viewdocsonline.com/document/9ivbdi It's pretty self explanatory. I try to explain it as clearly as I can and show all the work so I don't get accused of making it up. I hope you find it very educating and interesting. It took me a while to put it all together. http://web2.0calc.com/ You'll also need a calculator so I provided one for you. There are a lot of numbers to add up but I already set it up for you. You just have to copy the numbers, paste them in the calculator and get your answer. Please take time to read through it and I hope you enjoy!

  • So what you're saying is that because the word 'day' is in there 365 times, they knew the year was 365 days long. Well it's nice that you can count up some words and arbitrarily connect them with things that seem relevant today, but if they knew that, why wouldn't they just say it outright? Also, our measurment of 'one day' is completely arbitrary anyways.
