After it was evident that he may quit international, Pirlo cannot deny playing in the blue shirt a little bit longer. This as a whole sets Italy's sites on Euro 2016 with more confidence, and now that Prandelli has resigned (not saying he led us to our death, but a new coach might make better decisions with strikers and the like) it is better than having nothing. Pirlo is one of the players I admire most, only next to Gianluigi Buffon. The way we lost to Uruguay should not have happened, but at least it is nice to know that Pirlo will still be playing alongside Buffon or Sirigu if Buffon retires soon enough. Italy will feel more at home in 2016's Euro, and in my opinion, we shall be dangerous with a different strategy of attack. This news makes me a little better.
