So since the release of Dark Souls as a game with gold I decided to get back into it again. Try things differently, pick up a few achievements, etc. I realized something. After that first excruciating play through and beating the game, the new game plus is so much more enjoyable for me! Maybe it's because I know what I'm doing and I have a leg up but I'm hooked again. I want to see how many play throughs I can get through. The best part? The pressures off completely! I lost 80,000 souls fighting the iron golum (he threw me off the map, damnit) and wasn't even phased. I still have yet to play the second but I'm so glad I picked this one up again. If you haven't played it you really need to try it out. It's not for everyone but it's a good reminder that a hard game can be fun.
