It's amazing how many trolls flood these forums, especially #Destiny. Lately every fourth post is a troll, but what annoys me the most is that every second troll is a horrible attempt that everyone sees through. The amount of people that get satisfaction out of others realising they're fake and totally unbelievable is surprising.
It's kind of pointless posting a thread on it but it's worth letting people realise the amount of trolls. If you're reading this and are a troll, look back at your threads and look at how many people comment that it's fake, then realise the countless hours you've spent of your life trying to troll on a developer's game forum.
See you starside.

You don't even know what a troll is. Every time someone doesn't take it in the ass for more Destiny crap, they're automatically called out for being a troll. Just because someone doesn't like the game doesn't mean they're a troll. And you guys are too -blam!-ing addicted and idiotic to understand that.
See you starside.
Dumbass.
-
There's a difference between a Troll and being an idiot. Apparently this site has yet to understand this.
Troll Thread A post meant to trick others, lessen the quality of the forum, or tempt responses of negative or malicious intent
Is this in fact, not a troll thread?
-
Because people in this forum feed them.
-
Because most of the people who post to #Destiny make it too easy and fun for #Flood to pass up.
-
I believe college humor did a video on trolls you should look it up, it's pretty great

Each troll is one of many alts of the same person. 5 ppl could effectively troll this place on a regular basis. And they do

Waiting for Destiny is hard, but messing with others isn't, which is why I think people troll.
-
Because we are tired of waiting

Some of them are entertaining, like longface's "serious suggestions".
-
Wait...this isn't a troll, is it?

Here's my thoughts... We are in a time where the divorce rate is probably higher than 50% at this point, both parents work leaving no time for little Johnny. Therefore, it's a typical lack of attention case. These are the kids that would kick someone in the dick just to get a laugh in high school (which I'm guessing a lot of them still are.) Just take them with a grain of salt. Response is the worst thing you can do. I just tend to laugh at them now and move on.

I don't really mind the trolls. Usually the troll threads are easily distinguishable from legitimate ones just from their titles, if you really want to avoid them. Its not like there is a frequent amount of relevant threads ever posted anyways.
-
Unfortunately people keep responding to their threads. If people would refrain from the desire to call trolls out, the trolls would mostly go away. Trolls enjoy getting a rise out of people. Whether someone is gullible enough to believe what they say or someone berates them doesn't matter. As long as they get a response. People should know this but they constantly reply to trolls with "Go away", "0/10" and many other useless comments that just encourage them. The worst is "don't feed the troll". You advise not feeding the troll while feeding the troll with that statement. Idiocy.

The flood has always been filled with trolls,it also falls for them really easily. Just replying to a troll calling them out is falling for their ruse.

Edited by ChristGuardian: 5/30/2014 2:56:03 PMThe peaceful talk won't work, my friend. They don't believe in "wasting time" they do it to harass others, and they feed on the anger and comments, that sounded weird, but it's true, only patience, kindness, and not posting on there thing is all we can do, I post on trolls cause I like to joke about them.
