Internet crashes during downloads
I generally get 2MB/s, but I have to limit the download speed to 1.3MB/s or else I'll lose connection and have to wait for the router to reset. This happens every few minutes, making downloads extremely long when I can't control the speeds.
Do any of you have experience with this, or know how to fix it? I've read advice about updating drivers or swapping routers, but nothing seems to work consistently. Is this something I need to contact my ISP about?

14 RepliesDoes the router reboot itself, or is it just a loss of connection with no other noticeable changes? Is the lack of network isolated to your computer, or does every device in the house lose connectivity? Has any other action caused this other than downloading?
