Politics are all just one big game. Therefore it's more fitting for a gaming console than a Netflix or Hulu app.
-
According to The Washington Post, Microsoft says that 38 percent of its 25 million Xbox Live subscribers in the US are women, 40 percent are married, and more than half have children. Microsoft is apparently “particularly aggressive” in selling its ability to reach women, Latinos, and millennials.
Hey, there's actually a lot of us. Why would they be concerned with targeting women, though?
-
I don't care because it isn't coming on the Xbox of non-Americans. Also political parties pay a crap ton of money to have Microsoft put them on the console......it's also the governments way of thinking "We need to reach the younger audience, advertise on game consoles". Clearly they never thought about changing their policies or something.
-
You do realise that you can shut off non-gaming ads on the Xbox One, right? Yeah, just disable it, is all...

This isn't a big deal. In fact, I'd take a look at the political ads over any other crappy ad out there.
-
Edited by Fresh Pancake: 3/9/2014 5:11:55 AMSeeing politicians produce pro-gamer ads should be interesting, considering they usually just say "Video games are evil"
-
Although I am getting an Xbox One.. the advertisement shit is kind of bullshit.
-
As long as it stays on the dashboard I don't see it as being an issue.

Ha Xbone
-
I love in Australia. Your ads for your feeble country do not concern me.
-
Edited by Verios44: 3/9/2014 3:36:17 AMHave fun watching annoying adds while you are trying to relax and play a game. I feel sorry for ya
-
And I'll ignore it like every other ad. Ever.

Xbox One: Political Support PS4: Pornhub Support In the words of Lemon: "Top Kek."
-
What's unbelievable here? In any case it's probably good for the Republican Party, whose demographic currently consists of older people compared to democrats.
-
courting conservatives
Hey, at least they're not courting Democrats or Clinton for that matter >.> Conservatives, and Republicans as well, need a way to target the younger crowd; what's more better than placing ads onto something that many teenagers use on a daily basis? Still need to register myself but until the day comes when a Libertarian like Ron Paul grabs national attention and could have a big chance at winning then I will stick to voting Republican [moderates]
-
Why does this matter again?
-
I really don't see why its a big deal.
