I believe it would be a nice touch by Bungie fir them to give members of Bnet exclusive content for Destiny, nothing that would be unfair though, aesthetic items, like a camo or skin so that we can all recognise each other
-
You should have atleast 50 followers to get something like this, to prevent people from just joining for the gear
-
Pretty sure Bungie is familiar with this concept...
-
They either will, or they won't. 50/50
-
I agree. Gta did this
-
I think there was a speculation about needing a Bungie account to play Destiny
-
Didn't they say a whole ago that they would reward those of us who stayed here in the Dark ages of b.old where we had like 2 years of no information?
-

Edited by Shadow Iz Me: 3/4/2014 4:48:48 PMI think they said that we'd get something depending on how long we've been a member. Glad I've had this account for 6 years now :)
-
Damn, that moment when I wish I hadn't been locked out of my Microsoft account :( I used to be a member before the wipe happened and I couldn't access the account due to the email now "legally" being nonexistent. I'm only just now getting back into the community due to Destiny has me hyped. Sucks, I had 7 years on that account if it were still active...
-
You know that B.net users can redeem codes that will almost certainly give you in-game content when Destiny releases ?
-
Why? Why should we get something special for free when it's SO easy to join. If you get something pecial you should have had to earn it, imo.
-
Ive read most posts on this thread. Absolutly long time bnet members should get something. I wont be part of that group because i never got into multiplayer halo games. Only single and i like PS better. But to say its unfair. Your one of those losers ruining america that think everyone deserves a trophy. Go watch honey boo boo.
-
I think only players who have had BNet before a certain date or have year and up accounts would.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if they banned us all from the game instead.
-
They would probably just give like little announcement about what's happening in the game like mini events.
-
No, you need to sign in to Bungie.net to play the game so that won't happen.
-
But only if you are a playstation gamer as well. (or at least can prove you have never brought a product off Microsoft, nor played Halo)
-
You need a Bnet account to play Destiny so exclusive content would kinda be pointless.
-
I'd rather not alienate the newcomers from our community. Nor do I think we should have incentives as our reason for joining. Perhaps something small like a septagon by our name if people really insist on wanting something additional to all the years of being with the Bnet community, which I already feel rewarded for being apart of this community and I consider that to be good enough. Just my thoughts on this matter.

I lixe dis idear

Post like this irk me so much. I understand that we all want to be special snowflakes that bring envy from any who lay eyes on us, but how is that enriching the game experience for people who may not be members. You want them to look at you and regret the fact that they never made an account on a website they didn't know existed? Ideas like this are based on selfishness and are directed in the entirely wrong direction. Instead you should devote your time creating incentive for people who have never heard of this site to come check it out. An example could be something like a Bungie cape that represents not only how long you've been here, but a record of the journeys you've been on. I'm thinking something along the lines Iconic challenges whether they be Sentient Aliens or Physical Obstacles that would be represented by a progressive mural type drawing. This way even though people who haven't been here for as long as long as some Grizzled Ancients which I consider to be anyone here for at least ~5 years won't feel entirely alienated. It not only rewards players, but also encourages players to become apart of the community. I admit that this idea isn't the most brilliant, but it was off the cuff. In fact The
http://www.bungie.net]http://www.bungie.net/en/News/News?aid=11412
is a good example of this idea already implemented partially and actually alot more accessible.
-
I'd be ok with a Bungie.net tag like in halo 2/3.
-
Sure, but only those of us who have been here 5 years or longer. Don't want just anybody to get exclusive content.
-
Back in the day all we'd get was a little symbol on our lobby nameplates, and we were happy enough with that.
-
Edited by Spooky Delusor: 3/3/2014 4:01:34 AMYou have to have a b.net account to play the game.

"Nothing that would be unfair" Impossible.
