It is hard to underplay the results: The study found correlations, sometimes quite significant, between these traits and trolling behavior. What’s more, it also found a relationship between all Dark Tetrad traits (except for narcissism) and the overall time that an individual spent, per day, commenting on the Internet.

To be sure, only 5.6 percent of survey respondents actually specified that they enjoyed “trolling.” By contrast, 41.3 percent of Internet users were “non-commenters,” meaning they didn’t like engaging online at all. So trolls are, as has often been suspected, a minority of online commenters, and an even smaller minority of overall Internet users.
What interests me is: "What’s more, it also found a relationship between all Dark Tetrad traits (except for narcissism) and the overall time that an individual spent, per day, commenting on the Internet." I am curious whether more time spent online puts people at risk of developing personality disorders. I would certainly say that the internet desensitizes you, and perhaps constantly seeing internet trolls (who are a very visible minority) has an averse impact on what we see as acceptable.

I pooped all over you in Reach once. #Truefax

Yes, they are. They absolutely disgusting and pitiful. Thriving on others misery. We had a kid who was a real life troll, thought it was all fun and games to make the substitutes cry by trolling them. Absolute filth. I used to swim with a guy who would pull your suit while you were doing laps or if you were treading ways with a medicine ball he'd pull your feet down. So, one time he surfaced after pulling me under and I punched him real quick if the face twice. He got real mad at being physically assault and followed me to the shallow end and tried to fight me. So I whooped his ass. After that he never "trolled" anyone again. My conclusion, trolls need to have the shit beat out of them to humble them and make them realize nobody likes being trolled,

What bugs me about this is trolling isn't defined. Are my reference threads considered trolling? Or when we try to be funny? The outside world has always struggled to define what is trolling.
-
Charlie made a thread about this a few days ago.
-
It's even worse for people who do it in real life. Some people do that enough to the point where they have people wanting to beat them half to death. Honestly, if I was 5'1 and I was trying to troll someone who was 6'2 and looks like the gym is their home away from home, I'd say I was suicidal.

The only thing proven here is your own delusional mind for believing mythical creatures exist.
-
Well that's interesting.
-
What about on and off trolling?
-
Not sure if reading this right but how does chatting online link to Psychopathy and Sadism in the slightest?

The low life degenerates have the anonymity of the internet to cower behind.

No one likes trolls, to be honest.
