The world of Destiny is meant to be utterly vast. Its not just a game in this sense but it is of course very close to a literal world. Having said that... What will you do when you first enter the world?
personally I will be traversing venus to a hill by the devastated coast and finding a spot to gaze out over the oceans and jungles that flow before me.

When I enter the city for the first time, I'm going to search for hargrove's kiosk. I'm going to give him all my glimmer for his most expensive tour. An the I will bask in all the glory of destiny rocks!!!!!! Good times guys!

I'm gonna find a great ledge. When I find it, I will sit and take in the view

Would it not be great if the beginning week of the beta was simply based on missions to clear out a Fallen invasion from the City? Guardians banding together in mass Public Events to re-establish the security of our domain. Epic battles that will give areas of the last city meaning and our Guardians will become part of the legend already. That said, I want to travel the vast emptiness of space and find those scarce derelicts which are the remains of Golden Age starcraft, unmanned probes, and mining colonies on asteroids that may have been less heavily raided due to their small size and insignificance - instead of the large backdrops of planetary and lunar destinations. I expect there may not be much in this arena, but I hold out hope that the void of space is not entirely empty.

I'm speed running the campaign as much as i can as fast as i can to speed past as many players as possible. maybe when i get far enough ahead ill rest and admire all that is laid out before me. until then i'm exploring as many areas and as many games as possible trying to find new things to do. Still thinking about when i'm gonna be able to look out over the black garden, think that will be an interesting place.

I will pick up and use every weapon that finds its way into my hands just to try it out, whether it suits the situation/mood or not. I will focus solely on the story, taking a breather in Old Chicago as I search for the old Bungie office and relocate the legendary helmet, "Ling-Ling's Head". I will then settle on the moon, watching the earthrise.

After I create a character. I imagine I will be paired up with other New recruits in destinies world. The first fire team, will most likely be one of the most memorable. The 3 of us will most likely play campaign, experience a public event, kill a boss an reap a reward. After, we will each be checking out our upgrades. While one player is left finishing up, we come across a hill that gives a great view of the new frontier. We all gaze at the scenery....I begin to look starwards. .....and once again..even in a new universe..I realize just how small I am in comparison...and marvel at the thought of what else is out there.. In the vast distance, I'm quite sure other guardians will be present as well. Seeing our brethren reclaiming lost land inspires us. hopefully we get a chance to aid them. After a few hours of playing, we make sure to have friended each other. We part ways. The next time we meet, our outfit speaks experience, and the captivating experiences that lead each of us to such great gear leads us to roam for an even greater endeavor with a sweeter pot as we embark onwards to an area that posed significant difficulty when we weren't worthy of treading on such lands.

Edited by ronification101: 5/21/2014 5:16:20 PMAs soon as I have the opportunity I'm going to find the nearest exit sign and go on a patrol. I'll try to familiarize myself with the area just outside the city first and try to figure out where we as guardians can and can't go at level 1 and why. I'll also be admiring the sky boxes (because I like clouds) between clearing out areas to examine in more detail. I feel that we should know well the place that is closest to home. (upon further reflection, I realize now that the first thing that I'll do is spend way too much time in the character creator trying to make my human guardian look as much like me as possible. This always happens with me. lol)

Edited by PapayaOfDestiny: 5/21/2014 6:11:54 AMI think I'll be joining Marc and watts (and watts beard) in finding the weirdest ways to No armor dance and make the masses uncomfortable.
also naming my ghost honey then sending it to cover you bud and then you will be covered by my honey byf.
I will use my newly established freedom to establish my teabagging dominance all over the realm...be afraid gents....and ladies....of my deliberately unpowdered sack as a bag drag and swag on thy corpses
-
Charge out recklessly into the world, finding and pushing the limits of my titans capabilities. Some guardians just want to watch the world burn.
-
Bump. No really. I'll just explore the wall a bit.
-
I will use the beta to get used to FPS on the Ps4 controller. Still used to xbox
-
I'll just go ahead and necrobump
I will first learn how to use inventory and controles, change the setting do all that kind of stuff. Then I will spent hours enjoying the city. After that I am going to start and the campaign.

Hi. Codealpha. Probably enjoy the scenery for awhile, explore the city and local radius. Work on character (Titan or Warlock) and become familiar with equipment -then head out, exploring. Am looking forward to 10 years off innovation, art, exploring and of course reclaiming humanity's history towards building a future. See you in "Destiny Earth."

There's definitely a possibility that you won't be able to visit other planets from the first moments you enter the game. I'd wager that you first have to level up your character and/or complete a few story missions.

Edited by RiByte: 2/7/2014 5:19:24 AMFirstly, I want to explore the City. Secondly, I want to go to the moon. Thirdly, I want to go to Mars to get more candy bars.

Look around in nearby dumpsters, and find DeeJ. That, or do some badass dancing in the streets!
-
I'll put on my armor grab my trusty hand cannon and see where the whims take me.
-
With so many options I won't be able to decide and I'll end up just standing outside the wall of The City constantly changing my mind about where I should go.

I'm taking a vacation so I can spend a few days immersed in awesomeness. Ill take it slow and spend time really working on the look of my character... Then ill venture out and stay close to work on my mechanics and learn the ins and outs of the controller and gameplay. After I'm comfortable ill pick up a major quest and a couple dudes and head out.
-
I imagine I will be in awe. Probably try to see a little bit of everything and get a good understanding for the layout/system of the game as a whole. I will definatly pay close attention to the opening moments of the story. I really think the whole thing will be a fresh experience grounded in what I love about gaming.
-
Take in the sights and sounds of the city, and if I can. Stroll the top of the wall looking into the wild as the sunset. I know something is out there waiting, they won't wait long.

Just sit there listening to the intro music with the controller on the coffee table... until I cant take it anymore and dive into a flurry of character creation, open map exploration, and sending our message to the denizens of the stars. It will be a venerable cavalcade of ADHD as I flit from quest to quest and location to location never delving too deep, wanting to experience everything at once until I collapse into a frothing heap many hours later.
