For players who want to decorate their ship's interior.
I was checking out Star Citizen on YouTube. Really I know nothing about it other than its supported by KickStarter and it's being developed by the guy who did Wing Commander.
Anyways, there was some interesting video from a player showing off his new ship. Basically he has a large hangar and was storing two designs that he actually bought with real money.
Stepping into a elevator he was pulled up into the ship and gave everyone a tour from gunner seats to the cockpit.
So next time you say I want to decorate my Destiny ship's interior that's really plausible.
Anyways you should check out Star Citizen just to get an idea of what you're asking for in Destiny in action in another game.
Let's see it was on YouTube under the TacticalAdvance and Constellation upgrade.
You can tell the game needs more polish, but the basics are there.

3 RepliesI remember playing an MMO called Earth & Beyond back in the day. It was all about flying and customizing your own spacecraft. There was also an element of third person to it. It would be great to be able to customize and add to your own spacecraft.

Bungie said they aren't making a space sim and I expect the ships to be no more than a loading screen between planets like Ratchet and clank.

A game that is all about spaceships, vs a game where you don't fly your spaceship, its mainly about boots on the ground, fps action. Why bother wasting time and resources for something so useless? When that could be spent on something else?

2 RepliesI dunno about having the interior of the ship decorated, but it'd be pretty badass to have a room you can decorate and invite other players to. Personal living space where you can just chill, or maybe a Guild/Clan War-room where the officers or whatever can gather up for activity planning in-game. Yanno?
