Do you think Bungie's economy guy is paying attention to what's happening lately with Rockstar and the issues cropping up with hackers bequeathing billions of in game money to players online? Do you think they are looking at this and learning anything useful about Microtransaction, player behavior and blowback from grind based reward systems other than what they gathered from Reach?
Rockstar is threatening to use Microsoft to ban actual live accounts across the board while automated ban hammers hunt their systems and players scurry across twitter to stave them off.
Seems like a PR nightmare come the next launch of a Rockstar product if they actually ban players and scoop up legit ones in the process.
It's easy to see why Skyrim has doggedly hung onto the online played list for so long. Other people are hell.
