Accidentally created a 2nd account, now I can't unlink PSN from extra acct.

I thought I was linking my PSN ID on my existing account that already has my Live ID linked. Now I need to unlink it from the other account so I can link it on the one I want. However, it won't let me unlink it because it's signed in. Can anyone help me with this? Did I give enough details?

 • BEGINNING TRANSMISSION: (Low melodious hum.)
LINKING ACCOUNTS GENERAL INFORMATION 1. There are five ways to connect your bungie.net account. Microsoft Account, Playstation Account, Facebook, Google+ and Bungie Mobile. 2. You MUST ALWAYS have at least 1 way to connect to a bungie.net account. You can never remove all login methods. 3. DO NOT POST YOUR EMAIL ADDRESSES/LOGIN METHODS IN THIS THREAD. Yes, this is a help thread, but I nor anyone needs to know what your email address is. It's for your own protection and you can be helped without us knowing it. How do I change my password on bungie.net? Depending on which way you're connected, you must sign in to the appropriate service that's linked to your bungie.net account and change your password from there. For a Microsoft Account For a Playstation Account For a Facebook Account For a Google Account How do I change the email address of my Microsoft Account on bungie.net? Sign in to http://account.live.com/ and go to "Aliases" under your profile summary page. From there you can change the actual email address of your account. This will change the login under your Microsoft Account for bungie.net. How do I link my Microsoft, Playstation, Facebook or Google+ to my bungie.net profile? Once signed in to bungie.net, go to your settings page, then click "Account Settings". Click on the appropriate "link" that you want to connect. You will then sign in through that service and your profile will be linked to your bungie.net account. NOTE: In order for an account to link, it must not be attached to another bungie.net profile. To unlink an account from a bungie.net profile, see the next section. How do I unlink an account from my bungie.net profile? Once signed in to bungie.net, go to your settings page, then click "Account Settings". Simply click the "unlink" link and your profile will be disconnected. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. Remember that you must always have at least 1 way to connect to your bungie.net account. 2. You CANNOT be signed into the login method that you wish to unlink. You must be signed into your bungie.net through a different login. To add another login to your account, see the above steps. How do I switch my PSN or Xbox Live Gamertag/Handle on my bungie.net profile? You must have at least 2 ways to sign into your bungie.net account. If you don't, you need to create a "dummy account" (through http://account.live.com/ or http://us.playstation.com/psn/) and link that to your bungie.net profile. Once this is done, sign into your bungie.net profile through the dummy email, and "unlink" the Xbox Live or PSN account that you're going to swap out for the new one. Then simply follow the above steps to link your NEW XBL/PSN tag to your bungie.net account. NOTE: Remember, the new gamertag/handle you're linking must not be connected to another bungie.net account. If it is, follow the steps above to "unlink" that account. I have TWO bungie.net accounts, how I do combine my login methods together? 1. Decide on the bungie.net account you're going to use. 2. Login on the "throwaway account" that you're not going to use. 3. You must have at least 2 ways to connect to that throwaway account. If you don't, create a "dummy email" (through http://account.live.com/ or http://us.playstation.com/psn/) and link that to your throwaway bungie.net profile. If you already have an additional method to sign in through, skip ahead. 4. Sign in to your throwaway account through the dummy email, unlink the other account(s) you want to put on your "main" bungie.net account. 5. Sign into your "main" bungie.net account and link the previously "unlinked" account(s) to your main account. I haven't been here in a while and I just signed in and I was forced to create a NEW bungie.net account. What happened? When you sign in with a brand new login method to bungie.net, if that login method isn't attached to a profile, you'll be forced to create a new one. If you had an older bungie.net account, you must login through that Microsoft account to gain access to your old profile. From there, you can switch around your account links as you please.
Credit goes to Spawn. If you still have issues, tell me and we will try to work it out. ENDING TRANSMISSION:
