Exploring the "reply linking" feature....

It appears (and maybe it's perfectly clear to everyone and I am explaining the obvious) that there are 3 "tiers" within a topic. 1: OP (where they state their thought, ask their question, do whatever they can to get discussion going) 2: Comments (where a member responds to the OP) 3: Replies (Where people begin the real exchanges and conversations underneath the heading of someone's Comment) Within the replies is a wonderful little tool that is popping up to the left side. It is a dynamic link between a post and WHO/what that post is responding to. It includes mouseovers that allow you to see (even if the post to which the reply is above or below your display) what a particular post is in response to and WHO the member is addressing in their post. Take a look in a 3rd tier response (Replies) that have a dozen or so entries (expand those replies). Then you can mouseover and SEE the graphic tracing of how the conversation is going back and forth. It's VERY cool and in some ways is MUCH better than a flat vertical sort. I recommend that you take a look and see how it helps you to follow a conversation that took place minutes, hours, days ago and how it allows your to "jump in" at a relevant and appropriate "point of entry". Read BELOW before you click[/url] When you get there, find the Comment that has "6+ replies" and click on the link for the Replies. Then mouseover the Avatars within the thread. THAT's the reply-linking. You can also hover over items in the links to see not only who is replying, but to whom they are speaking.
