Who else has been following this show? I'm curious to hear what you all have to say about it. It has gotten quite a lot of talk, and seems to be doing well seeing as the rest of the season was picked up. Although I do hear some negative comments about it from some people.
I really enjoy the show so far and love how it will make the Marvel Cinematic Universe deeper. The acting is decent enough to deal with, and Phil Coulson is probably my favorite supporting character from all the Marvel movies so he makes a fun and interesting lead man (surrounding his supposed death in the avengers).
(SPOILERS)
The third episode also introduced Gravitron, which is -blam!-ing awesome! =)

I like it, it has that Joss Whedon charm to it. People only don't like it because it's not the next Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad, it's not meant to be a serious drama, the show does what it's meant to do.

Enjoying it but if I'm being honest it seems really obvious what's going to happen each episode nothing been overly good with the story but average for me. Same for anyone else?

If Coulson did die in the avengers, they would have shown his funeral as he was one of the more important characters in the movie. Why would they ignore someone as important as him unless he never did for and it was being kept under wraps.

Still calling it, Coulson died in the Avengers, and the one on the show is a LMD.

It is a very good show. Iv watched it from the beginning and it just got picked up for a full first season of 22 episodes I think. So I'm excited. It's the typical marvel type movie/show, it has humor (a lot) but is also serious. The only thing truly bad about it right now, is that some of the characters are very under developed. But it's only the third episode, so you can't expect them to be like John lock from Lost or anything. After the first season the characters will be better. And most people that don't like it are: A) People that expect it to be about superheroes. But that's not what S.H.I.E.L.D. Is about. B) Comicbook people that expect it to adhere to everything comics did and more. It's a TV show, it simply can't do that.
