Banned from Halo 3 matchmaking for modded fileshare content that i didn't create. Would love to play again
Backstory:
In 2008 I was banned from Halo 3's matchmaking for creating modded content and hosting it on my fileshare. But in actuality I downloaded the picture from an online player and deleted the description to a blank description, and re-posted in my fileshare. Several days later I logged on to find my account banned.
Although I found it unfair to begin with, I have accepted it until now. I feel the urge to play Halo 3's matchmaking again due to it's sheer awesomeness and fun factor.
My first question: can the banhammer's punishment be reversed?
Secondly who should I contact with my information/story

4 RepliesCan't you just create a new GT? Unless you got console banned. Anywho, Bungie doesn't run the Halo universe any longer, so you'd have to take that up with 343i.

Unfortunately Bungie doesn't have the keys to that game anymore, you'd have to talk to 343 Industries, and it probably isn't likely that they'll see your request, though you are welcome to try :|
