Equal Opportunity

I started playing Bungie games when I was eight. They are the reason I got into gaming. Some of my best memories come from sitting on my couch with friends playing Halo 2. However I couldn't imagine what might have happened if I wasn't able to play their games because they were too "mature". I'm here today to tell all of you that I support the goal of a T-rating with Destiny. Now we all hate squeakers, that much is obvious, but if things go as I think they might then there may not even be a need to mute them. What I'm talking about is the slight chance that playing Destiny might actually help them.... mature. By playing a high quality, super fun, teamwork supporting Bungie game they might learn that going around acting like a bunch of little -blam!- tards isn't the best way to make friends. Nor is it the best way to play a game. I know this is what happened early on in my life playing halo. I had a much more fruitful experience when I behaved properly and encouraged team play by strategizing, than when I went around telling my team mates that they suck despite I'm bottom of the leader board. Even if this isn't the case just think about this one thing, what would your life be like without Bungie?

 • I really hope that Bungie isn't actually aiming for a rating. I've heard that they are, but I'm hoping that's just a rumor or something, because they need to just make the game they want to make and do whatever it takes to make that happen. Whether that takes heavy themes or gore or language, whatever. However, if all of that is unnecessary for this game, that's fine. I mean, I started playing Halo:CE with my dad when I was 10 in co-op. I totally see the appeal of the game being accessible to as many people as possible. So long as that doesn't impact it negatively, the rating could be E for all I care.
