Leveling System
So does anybody have a clue what leveling will be like? I'm wondering if there will be skill trees/abilities and how they would be set up. I'm also wondering if weapons, armor and etc. will be level based, and how exactly does that work. Finally I want to know how game play against enemies will change as they get higher level. If you know or have any theories please comment, and if you have any great ideas go ahead and share them. All comments related to the subject are very much welcomed. :)

Unfortunately Bungie has not said much and most of what has posted here so far is only speculation, no matter how much I may agree with or like these comments. Truth is only Bungie knows and we still have to wait. : (

I mainly hope for new powers/abilities as you level up. I've seen each class type use a very limited number of powers and it would be kind of disappointing if each class is limited to one power only.

Powers will almost certainly have skill trees, I feel like we've seen this somewhere though I dunno where. Guns at least we know will have a kind of leveling upgrade tree, which makes me think they wont be restricted based on level. In the podcast they said they want you to stick with, develop, customize, and get attached to your weapon. This makes me think that any gun can be very powerful if you spend enough time using it, even the non-exotics.

So far, the people in the gameplay videos have ranks, and they appear to be just numbers (1,2,3,4...and so on).

From what we have seen in the gameplay video the guns have Weapon Levels and Trees to level up. These are the exotics, but this was a level 7 warlock's drop in Russia.
