What do you think makes the Kinect worth the higher price tag? What new and creative innovation do you think will make it stand out from its predecessor? Be sure to check out the link before leaving a comment and as always be sure to check out the group, Destiny for Xbox One.

I like the Kinect. Hopefully it will be as smooth as they made it seem at the reveal because as of now the technology for it isn't what they've made it seem. I wish I still had the link showing the real use of it but it's much slower. I hope they can pull it off.

Infra-red sensor, 1080p full HD camera, surround sound, wide infra-red sensory bandwidth, operates in the dark and in the bright, has wider range, has voice recognition software, allows menu navigation via hand gestures and voice commands, will not respond to unregistered voices, will automatically sign you in, will automatically switch the settings to your preset settings and anybody else who is registered whenever you hand the controller over to that person, measures heartbeat, muscle texture mapping and breathing rate, blood pressure etc. It's ultra sensitive unlike the current one which Angry Joe has assured people, does not really work. Ever. Plus a bunch of other stuff too. Like, Skype, Snap, power on, power off etc.

I really don't know other than the fact that it has new features that still don't function properly

This interview explains it as good as anything. Its totally true Kinect will never amount to anything if its an optional piece of equipment. That's why it's not so great now, limited to jumping jack games and throw away peripheral controls. I'm interested in the potential of Kinect enough to accept that and buy it.

I like the kinect. I moved my xbox one and didn't reconnect the kinect, then I realized how much I enjoyed talking to my xbox. I record awsome moments, "snap", and navigate menus and internet. Once you memorize the voice commands it's as easy as using your controller. I do hope someone uses the technologie to make a totally hands free game.

Nothing unless the air vents are blocked.

The technology behind the Kinect 2.0 is actually really impressive. It's just being used so goddamn poorly.
-
>No games >Still a gimmick >Adds nothing that's worth getting it for
-
It works
-
It's capable of being quite impressive, but nothing uses it, half a year after launch, no real good games, thus, no exact purpose, it was a swing and a miss because Microsoft invested enough to make it, but didn't invest enough to keep it going. IT's a pile of crap now.. *sips tea*

It can read black people Pls no ban..
-
I personally like it It can be nice when navigating, and like in cod ghosts you can you sit as a shortcut for the menus, and it can mute everyone in your mp game
-
I have the xbox one now and the kinect is really good acctually
-
I think its mostly going to be used for sounds like in dead rising if someone's being loud in your room then the zombies will hear you and start attacking
-
And if you want to buy the Xbox one, you have to buy the Kinect with it.. That's the worst. ( 100$ ) That's why the xbox one is more expansive than the PS4.

I like what Kinect will presumably bring to the table, but I feel that article was more of an example why people think Kinect will only be gimmicky and stupid. The value comes in the subtlety for this one.

I god no, we just came back from a bloody war. I'm sorry but I don't think anyone's going to give there opinion for a while.
