Brand new user

Hey, I'm new around these parts and was wondering if there are any FAQs for the forum and what things mean? I've looked through a few pages and there are a lot of multi-coloured icons that I have no idea what the meaning of them is (the ones next to the thread title & and the Bungie logo to the right of the thread link, they have like three colours). Any useful tips and what not would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • Indeed there are some FAQs for you, and the icons to the right of the thread title are indicators of how popular the thread is. Unless it has a gold icon, that means it was posted by a Bungie Employee. Anyway, here the FAQs for you! FAQ Bungie Mobile App FAQ Community FAQ and also, here is the Bungie.net information desk There you go. If you have any more questions about the site and/or its features, feel free to use the #Support forum any time. And welcome to the community, it's great to have you here.

    • Hopefully Chorrizo's links answered all of your questions. I've just rejoined these forums myself and a lot has changed since the Halo: Reach days haha. A good tip would be that if you see someone breaching the forums rules don't be afraid to report it. The Ninjas are omnipotent, but not omnipresent...not yet atleast.

Wassup. If you go to that article there's some links you can look at. The website can get pretty confusing, but you'll get acclimated to it in a little bit. I'm sure someone will post some much more helpful info than me, but if you're still lost send a message to someone from the Welcoming Committee (their group is in the link also). Just kind of click on some links and you'll get it soon enough. Those little icons are just to signify if there are a lot of posts in the thread or not. If it's clear then there aren't any, but if it's colored in then it's a hot topic. I'm pretty sure there's a picture that explains what all of them are, but I don't have it. It's really not that important. A gold shield means an employee has replied to the thread I think.
