First it started to crash Shockwave Flash every so often for no reason, so i updated the firmware for it, Google Chrome, and Java, and hoped that solved it.
Now it literally just crashs the entire webpage for no reason, makes me restart it, then does it again anyway, so i'm having to use IE so i don't rage from losing data on pages.
What the hell is wrong with Chrome?
-
I dropped that -blam!- for Firefox.
-
I stopped using chrome months ago because my job requires me to use Firefox. Only thing that crashes my flash player is certain videos. And that's just when I try to go full screen. Happens very rarely.
-
I wouldn't use chrome if I could get firefox for free. I hate supporting Google.
-
Chrome sucks anyway.

Chrome hasn't worked at all on my laptop the past six months. Sometimes it just crashes, sometimes it doesn't open, sometimes it just freezes, sometimes it goes really slow. I've tried EVERYTHING. It's probably something to do with how bad and inconsistent Windows is..
-
Chrome has a built-in version of Flash Player so it conflicts with the global version of it. Put this in the address bar: chrome://plugins/ Then disable the Flash with PepperFlash in the location.
-
Firefox. And say what you want, but IE10 is a decently well made browser. I actually find it to be faster than both Firefox and Chrome, but I use Firefox due to the personalization options.

Never had that problem
-
No idea, never used it. I had IE for the longest time, then decided to switch to Firefox. Both worked fine for me.

>2013 the year of Our Lord >Still using Chrome >Not using Firefox SHIGGITY
-
No problems here with chrome, IE on the other hand crashes all the time for me.

Guis GUYS! Opees lieing. My Crome works wonderfully on my laptop. Im on a Macbook Pro so, maybe thats why.
What the hell is wrong with Chrome?
Don't get me started. Anyhow, back when I used to use Chrome, I remember the shockwave flash being a pain as well. I'd say switch to Firefox which allows for far greater security and customization, but ultimately it's your choice.
so i updated the firmware for it
That must have been hard. Anyway, I suspect that you may want to try disabling any of your plug-ins and add-ons to Chrome. Here's something helpful too. http://ninite.com Use that site to setup a list of all of the programs and add-ins that you use. It creates a single, no-dialog, no-bloatware installer that you can also save and use as an updater. It's the easiest way that I know to keep all of those components (browsers and plugins) up to date.

Shockwave Flash does seem pretty prone to crashes on my end as well.
-
Makes me glad I use Firefox @_@

it sucks.. I have the same problem but I'd say it's cuz my work computer is 11 years old..
