• Climate change is a natural process which has occurred in cycles since the start of the Earth. However, that's not to say human activity hasn't sped up the process through greenhouse gas emissions. We need to cut down on emissions, but that problem starts with the power companies and large corporations. Not the people. I'm happy to use eco-friendly bulbs, loft insulation, etc, to reduce my carbon footprint, but that is but a drop in the ocean compared to large companies. Global governments need to focus on reducing the carbon footprint of these companies before I can take my footprint seriously.

Hrmmm.... This news needs a tactful and well articulated and thought provoking response. GLOBAL WARMING IS A MYTH! THE SCIENTISTS ARE LYING! THE EARTH UNDERGOES NATURAL HEATING AND COOLING CYCLES! THE GOVERNMENT WANTS TO KILL JOBS WITH THEIR 'GREEN' ENVIRONMENT LAWS! BIG OIL AND BIG BUSINESS TOLD ME SO! BESIDES, THE RAPTURE IS GOING TO HAPPEN AND WE WON'T CARE ANYMORE ABOUT THE EARTH! YOLO! *ponders for a moment* Yep. Nailed it.

            • I suspect that if Al Gore had never mentioned it, people would believe the overwhelming and obvious evidence. People seem to think it is somehow as debatable as politics.

              • And? It's an essential gas to all life and more amounts will cause vegetation to grow even larger.

                • Well, no shit, Sherlock. The amount of shit that China's putting into the -blam!-ing air is -blam!-ing ridiculous. Seriously, they don't have any environmental regulations like they do in Western culture.

As long as we have enough trees and plants... We can still breathe. Worst case, the planet becomes inhabitable and by that time we have an intergalactic war over "paradise" level planets. However, most of us will be likely dead by that time, so...

                  • Fake! False! Bias! Liberal agenda! The science isn't sound! The majority of scientists disagree! The Bible says...! Man-made emissions don't exist! There are more important issues to worry about! Did I cover everything?

But for reals, climate change isn't real and humans have nothing to do with it...

                      • Well I dont imagine the millions of cars emissions are just vanishing so its no surprise its getting worse and the people in china where the pollution is so bad its like a foggy day and they are still alive so im sure we will be fine for at least our generation.
