Credit ban - why?

I have only been playing Halo: Reach online for about 2 days now. My wife and friends I play with can vouch for me as to not intentionally doing anything wrong. Now I've hit a ton of lag spikes as a result of playing against people with cruddy internet but I've not purposefully done anything wrong like boost, glitch, mod., etc. - shoot, I really don't know what half of this stuff means. How can I get my credits back or find out what I supposedly did wrong to get them back?

  • You cannot 'get credits back.' You would be credit banned for attempting to manipulate the system repeatedly. For example, having a second controller plugged in just so it's easier for you to get kills. And the, 'My wife/cousin/friend/brother was playing but they are just really bad' excuse does not warrant a lift of the ban, mate.

  • You may be twmporarily banned for earning too many cR in a certain ammount of time. This used to happen to me a lot when I used to play. Also, Bungie is no longer managing the Halo universe and is no longer keeping or updating stats for Halo 3/ODST/Reach. If you have a tech issue it may be best to ask around halo.xbox.com (343i is now in charge of all things Halo) or ask the community here on Bungie.net via the #gaming forum. I hope this helps you.

  • Mate, talk to 343... it's not Bungie's thing anymore.
