I feel like at some point the Traveler unleashes some sort of awesome power and possess the Cabal and the Fallen and you fight alongside them in some epic battle against a darker more powerful enemy. (I think it'll be the moon base hell mouth guys or have something to do with the pyramid space ships) But these are all my predictions, either way I know whatever happens it will be awesomely epic they are cinematic story tellers after all, what do you guys think?
epic battle against a darker more powerful enemy.
Obviously the tutorial boss from Dark Souls.

The picture is a Hunter hiding from a Fallen/Cabal Alliance. If they were working with humans to fight a greater enemy, then the Hunter wouldn't be hiding from them.
-
that character is a hunter, its probably just displaying that the hunter is stealth based
-
Or, there could be some twist later down the line and the traveler could end up being evil.
-
so does it have you curious or not???!?!?!?!?

Edited by SwiftKingKB: 5/9/2013 2:19:35 AMHe could be Derp and jns_spartan 000, but he's not hiding pretty well because all they have to do is turn to the right slightly and they could see him .................. or her Narstorm lol then again it's like you said Derp It's just the way it was drawn.

The Hunter is just hiding from the enemies walking in front of it.

Edited by Derp: 5/5/2013 2:49:19 PMI think the hunter is hiding. It's just the way it was drawn.
-
In a way, that does make sense since its pretty clear that every single one of these enemies CAN see the Hunter or they have the ability to. He's not trying that hard to hide from them.
-
Pretty sure the Hunter is hiding for a reason :) I think that's the speculated Glimmer at work, not the Traveler. Imagine, Ethreal Aliens that cannot interact with the real world and possess puppets to get their shit done.

Edited by SwiftKingKB: 5/2/2013 7:16:24 PMCharlemagne, and Hylebos you both could be right because imagine if you were running through a forest of some kind in Destiny and all-of-a sudden you see enemies with glowing green eyes marching, I would most certainly get that OH SHIT!!!! feeling (Lol) and stop and hid from their sight.

It looks like the Hunter is just hiding do to the angle of the body, the flora around them, and the fact that not a single enemy is looking at them. It reminds me of the scene in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King when Frodo, Sam, and Smegol climb up the secret stairs. No one saw them because no one thought to look for anyone in that area. It is a mixture of hiding in plain sight and blending in.

Edited by A Fly Lady: 5/2/2013 5:27:25 PMThe size of the gun in that picture bothers me. It seems waaaaay too large for the character. He's holding it in such an awkward way; there's no way you could shoot with it in that position! And if he's just walking with it, I still think that looks like an awkward way to carry such a large gun. /nit picking. #IwantDestinytobePerfect <3
