Artillery strikes from space
It would be cool if you had a laser designation and could call in support from your ship such as ammo or artillery, what do you guys think, got any suggestions or ideas on the subject?
As for the round coming from your ship i'm kind of building off the orbital drop idea that i present in this thread

(dantebox83 has suggested that this function could be controlled by your friends via the mobile app as a way to more thoroughly integrate the app.)
Seeing as it would be kind of an easy button for larger groups those groups could carry a targeting jammer or an anti missile system.

1 ReplyMaybe you could find items that your ship can deploy like you could find cluster bombs or sentry turrets that you can add to your ship so on the ground you can call your ship to launch whatever it is you collect

But how cool would it be to actually run into say a Fallen battle Cruiser and I'm not saying a little fleet of like one manned ships I'm talking about a giant command ship that you can attack and board? 11 RepliesI would love for them to do this with the mobile app. So say I'm at work and my buddy is playing. He shoots me a text that he's in some battle and needs help. I hop on my app and send in support, be it an airstrike, or care package with ammo or an extraction. Then when I'm playing he does the same for me. I think it would be a great way for them to integrate the app into the game

4 Repliesi think it would be a good idea for story play missions. Like there is a huge group of Cabal in your path just call down a strike right on them and send them to hell. As for multiplayer im not so sure about that might make it unfair to other players.

1 ReplyRather than have it come in from your ship, (which is presumably also on the planet with you) it would be cool if another player had to respond to the laser. Either as part of the same mission, or an independent mission. Say one player accepts a mission to laze an enemy stronghold, and another player has to accept a linked mission to perform the bombing run on the lazed target, and provide air support throughout the mission. Think the COD missions where one player is on the ground and the other is up in an AC-130.
