So I am thinking about picking up Defiance.

What system should I go for? I experienced a bit of lag when I played the Beta on the 360. I have that, a PS3, and a PC. Who here plays the game and what system do you recommend? Also, what are your impressions after the hand holding has stopped.

My friend has it on 360 and he loves it. Also 360 has the highest score for it on Metacritic.

I picked it up on the 360 yesterday, and messed around the character creation system for a bit before I had to go and finish a 3,000 word essay on why communism failed..*grumble* As for a system recommendation, go for the PC. The console version requires AT LEAST 10GB of free space to start (This DOES NOT include patches. Be warned, this game eats up space). With the PC, you don't really have to worry about space, and the graphics look a bit better when you compare them side by side. I haven't really had much of a chance to play with it extensively, only an hour or so. Power system is simple and easy to use. At the start, you sample most of the abilities in the tutorial before picking one power to start with. I chose a tactical cloak, 'cause I like to stealth. Enemies respawn pretty quickly. I mean, you kill one and turn around and then bam! You get shot in the back. Not really a problem though, 'cause you get a fairly strong shield and they die pretty quick. Character animations and voice acting is nothing compared to games like Halo 4, or Uncharted. Hell, Mass Effect 1 had better voice acting and animations. Console graphics are decent. Again, nothing compared to newer titles. PC graphics look a bit better. Story is pretty interesting so far. I like the post-apocalyptic setting. Mutant humans filled with radiation, punk-like biker dudes with liberty spikes... they all look neat. Gonna hop on in a minute to get some more play time in.
