Here's the question I have after reading this: I wonder what value or meaning the players of Destiny will assign to choosing a particular race? Will certain races congregate to or dominate particular factions? Look at Halo. Only two options in multiplayer, but I can tell you what the majority players thought of people that chose to be Elites...and it wasn't usually conveyed to them very nicely. The choice was purely aesthetic but players would assume things about you based on that choice. Obviously, there will be more details and maybe some back story to the Destiny races that might define perception, but it will be interesting to see if this develops beyond just a purely aesthetic choice...
