Elite special moves

In multiplayer will an elite have its own special abilities. They are faster than the MC in the game, and can dodge. That would be cool if it was in multiplayer. They could balance it by only letting elites use plasma weapons( nothing Dual).

Coordinated Merc are a force to be reckoned with. I think having Elites have different skill sets is the way to go, otherwise, there's not much of a point to having that functionality, since it would be purely cosmetic. for more examples, look as games like tribes, unreal, RTCW, etc, where there are different classes and they all come together to make a cohesive game.   • There should be no differences between them. Just play Splinter Cell multiplayer. Being the Merc sucks. Absolutely sucks. They spies are the best because they are too cool. If Halo 2 has different attributes for multiplayer characters, then one will be better, and people will always play as them. Unless Bungie whips out their uber balance machine. That would be cool.

  • Here's my call, if they have elites in multiplayer they should only use plasma guns (that's my opinion, but could turn invisible for a short amount of time. Shorter than the invincibility thing (ya'll know what I mean), but they could only do it once when there alive.
