It's always the "end of the world". I'm just not getting riled up again, people love making tension, but I rarely see anyone's prediction come true.

1 ReplyOK, who the -blam!- are "They?" I watched the entire thing. He kept saying They are releasing aluminum into the environment, they are making chemtrails, they they they... Who are they? Who is doing "Geoengineering?" This is what takes it from a credible possibility to the ravings of lunatics. He never specified who was doing it, nor why. If he had said, ALCOA has been releasing atmospheric aluminum because they use an outdated system at the refineries, they are doing it to make a higher profit. Now I have someone to be mad at, a reason to be mad at them, and a end condition to strive for. Here he gives nothing but alarmist talk, with nearly nothing to back it up. All of his data was "take my word for it." Now, I am not saying Chemtrails aren't real, or that there is not some vast conspiracy trying to use geoengineering for some nebulous goal. I am saying that the author of that video gave me nothing to go on. There is no independent research I can do, no way to verify I was being told the truth. Interesting material. I plan to look up the methane sheets melting. I've heard of that before.

So what is he saying, that we are intentionally heating it up, setting the north pole on fire...? the tone of this video is making it difficult to take anything seriously when it just sounds like a propaganda conspiracy theory from an alex jones affiliate. all that is missing is a droning depressive sound track. already has the crazy flashing graphs. edit: even if what he is saying is scientifically accurate, the way it is being presented is terrible and screams tinfoil hat party. This is nearly on the same level as Loose Change. If you want to get your message across you dont pay a naked homeless guy to yell it in a crowd of people, wearing a flashing neon hat.

Also OP, i tell people who post things like these "end of the world" esque posts to be careful how you word it. especially saying that its ending already, which is freaking ridiculous. No where in there did he say we are all going to die, i can acknowledge its a problem but don't come on here and fear monger on some people who may be more paranoid then others and scare them. They said its good to be active and warn people about it to spread awareness not scare the hell out of them. A simple, "there is a serious problem in the environment and we need to fix it, this video explains it" would suffice, not yelling about how were all screwed and are going to die soon.
