Chapter Seven: Oracles Part 1 “You!” “Yes, Everon, it is I.” “Feel my wrath!” Veranox sent a huge shockwave that’s kills all of Dethin’s men around them. “I’m disappointed Veranox.” “Show yourself Dethin!” Everon yelled. “Who’s there!?” Veranox yelled. Dethin reveals himself. He looks older than Everon and Estoc, but looks similar. Instead of white wings, that Everon has, he has black ones. “I am the Oracle of Darkness, the one given power by the Dark God. Everon is the Oracle of Light.” “I thought I killed you!” “Oracles can’t die, you fool!” “We have to bury Rogue you know.” Taylor whispered. “Take that!” Zack kills a few more enemies. “Dethin, I remember you. You’re also known as Terrorark.” “That is my name of this realm, yes. Enough talk!” Dethin takes out the Sword of Corruption. “Dethin, you’re the one who killed my father, aren’t you?” Taylor asked. “No, you’re thinking of my brother, Dethik.” Another figure emerges from the shadow. He looks exactly like Dethin. “I am Dethik, Oracle of Pain.” “Veranox, take care of Dethik. He is not immortal. He can only bring himself back once he dies.” “Everon, I’ll take Terrorark, you take Dethik.” “Then die!” Dethin flings thousands of copies of the Sword of Corruption at Veranox. “No, you don’t!” Everon creates a Light Barrier stronger enough the block his attack. Veranox and Dethin clash with each other for what seemed like forever. Dethin had the upper hand. In the end, Dethin was the winner. “Fool! Do you think that equipment alone can stop me!?” Terrorark yelled. “Die, you corrupted son of a -blam!-.” Veranox blasts Dethin that completely disintegrates him. “There we go.” “Did we win?” Taylor asked. Dethin regenerates. “Don’t you learn!? I am immortal!” “Everyone, leave Dethin to me. We are both oracles so we are both immortal. Take care of Dethik, he is not a true oracle. He can be killed.” Veranox creates a Light Barrier around them. “We can keep safe, just get Dethin out of here.” “I can defeat you as long as Everon is here.” Dethin teleports. Everyone is then teleported to Krelsia. “I wasn’t expecting that.” Veranox said. ----------------------------- One Year Time Jump ----------------------------- “The realm is in chaos just like the Realm of Light was a year ago. What happened?” Taylor asked. “We have to find out.” Veranox said. “It was Dethin. No one else could have done this.” Everon said. Rogue walks up to the group. “I’m back.” “I think he went on a rampage after we jumped forward in time. And why am I still in this form?” Veranox said. “Hello, anyone there. I’m back, idiots.” “Don’t call us- Rogue you’re back!” “We’ll catch up later. Someone is coming.” Estoc said. “I can sense it too.” His equal replied. “Yeah looks like full blooded rogues can only die by this one sword. If it’s anything else, then I come back to life the next year.” Rogue said. “That’s good, but like Estoc and Everon said, someone is coming.” “I felt it too.” Taylor said. “Everyone duck!” Rogue yelled. A green blast of light and darkness flies towards them. “It’s you!” Rogue yelled. “Vertenik!” Everon yelled. “Yes, Everon, it is I.” “Who’s she?” Estoc asked. “Dethin’s wife.” “What!?” “That’s Dethin’s wife!?” “Yeah she’s one -blam!-. She was killed around the same time as me, except she was able to leave earlier since she killed spirits.” Rogue said. Estoc turns to Everon. “You said oracles are immortal.” “True oracles are. Pain and in her case Energy are not true oracles. Those who are not true oracles can only be killed by another oracle.” “Wait, I think I’m the Oracle of Divineness.” Veranox said. “You finally figured that out. Oracles cannot tell one that they are an oracle. They must find out themselves.” Everon said. “Done talking?” Vertenik fired another blast of energy at them. “Vertenik, don’t make me kill you.” Everon blocked the blast. “I’ll come back anyway.” She fired another blast. Veranox in the meantime purified Krelsia from the damamge. “Enough of this.” Vertenik sent rapid-fire blast. “You never learn, do you?” Everon creates a Light Barrier blocking the attack. Veranox sends a beam or white and purple energy at her which rips her body apart. “I’ll be back!” “Damn it’s getting late. We should get some sleep.” Rogue pointed out. “Anyway, we still need to find out who to stop this war. And, yes we should sleep.” ------------------- Night ------------------- Estoc wakes up. He notices that Everon is still up. “Everon? No sleep?” He yawned. “You just noticed this? Those of the Mystic Realm don’t sleep. It’s something to do with the blood in our bodies. Stops us from sleeping.” “Oh. Sorry I asked.” “It doesn’t matter.” Estoc goes back to sleep. Rogue gets up. “I’m sorry everyone. I must kill the elder ones myself.” He puts a letter on Taylor’s arm. “Be careful Rogue.” Everon said. ----------------- Morning ----------------- “Huh? Where’s Rogue?” Estoc asked. “He left.” Everon replied. “What!? Why didn’t you stop him?” “He must do what he has to do.” ------------------------------ Veranox’s Mind ------------------------------- “Typical little Veranox, always staying so strong, but trust me, you’re going to die sooner or later. “Drakthen, why are you here?” “To tell you of what is coming, I hope you live.” “What do you mean.” “What I mean is that I’m going to kill you. You took my place as Oracle of Divineness.” “Well, then bring it on.” “Sorry, I have to go.” “Wait!” --------------------------- Morning --------------------------- Veranox wakes up from the chat with the former Oracle of Diviness. “Where’s Rogue?” “Gone.” Everon replied. There is an explosion in the distance. “Let’s go.” “What caused the explosion?” Estoc sees someone familiar. He sees the Princess of Sepheara, Sophia. She is one year younger than Estoc. They were very close, but Estoc was exiled. After the attack on Sepheara, she went looking after him. “Die!” She fires a blast of ice from her staff. “Sophia? But how?” “Estoc!” “We’ll take later.” He takes out the Blade of Shadowed Winds. “Estoc, who is she?” Veranox asked. “Long story short, she’s the Princess of Sepheara, I guess you could say, but Sepheara is no more.” “I see.” “Duck!” Everon yelled. A blast of darkness flies at them. “Dethin!” Estoc yelled. “I have to wait another year for Vertenik. You will pay Veranox!” Dethin fires another blast of Veranox. “Bring it on!” Veranox into his Full-fledged Demonic Angel Bird form. Veranox hits back the blast. Dethin blocks it with a finger. “A battle of Oracles. I haven’t done this in a while. The fight one year ago doesn’t count.” “The odds are against you Dethin! Its four on one!” Everon yelled. Veranox sends a blast of golden light at Dethin that knocks him down. “You’re right about the odds, but the thing is, looks can be deceiving.” Dethin summons an army of undead creatures. “Veranox and I will take care of Dethin!” Everon yelled. Everon and Veranox both sends beams and blasts of light at Dethin. Dethin creates a star of darkness. “Agharr, Bird of Darkness, awaken from your slumber!” A bird of black fire comes out of the circle and blocks the attack. Veranox sends a blast of light at the bird, destroying it. “Ishin, Warrior of Pure Darkness, awaken from the seal you were imprisoned in!” Everon notices the blade Ishin is holding. “What!? How can he hold the holy blade, Excalibur!” “That is Dark Excalibur.” “Final Blast!” Veranox uses his second strongest move which completely destroys Ishin. “HehHeh. It was a Shadow Copy, you fool! Ishin, finish them off!” Ishin throws Dark Excalibur into the air shattering it. It creates a blast, destroying everything in a one mile radius. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Rogue’s Location. A/N: This is before the battle ------------------------------------------------------------------- Rogue walks up to the castle in which the elder ones are in. “Guards, attack!” the Elder of Fire said. “Your guards can’t do anything, come down here and fight me.” “Get ready to die.” They clash for a very long time. In the end, Rogue won. Rogue walks into the main room. “It took you long enough to get here.” The Elder on of Wind said. “Then get ready to die.” “Then beat the Warrior of Chaos.” “Die. Chaos Overload!” The Warrior of Chaos said. “Darkness Overload!” They fight for another long time. Rogue wins. Rogue kills the elder one. “You think you can beat me?” the Elder on of Earth said. “I’m getting tired of this. Chaos Explosion!” “You got lucky…” the elder dies. A ship takes off. “Damn, he got away before I could kill him.” Rogue teleports to the battle. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Battle With the Undead A/N: The ones that Dethin summoned. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Damn, do I always walk into a fight? Darkness Overload!” The blast kills a lot of the undead. “Army of Darkness, I summon you!” “Take this, Army of Light!” Taylor summons the light version of Rogue’s. “All’s Ends!” Rogue and Taylor yelled together. “Everyone, we need to get to a safe location. I’ll stay with Taylor and Rogue and teleport them.” Veranox said.
