Anyone else noticing that old threads get replied to more often?

I'll have to admit that the thing I was worried about the most regarding the "all-in-one" forum was that less popular topics would never have a chance to shine. While this was true at first, the hashtag system seems to have actually remedied this. I made a Marathon thread yesterday that never stayed on the front page for more than a minute, but it's already gotten about 7 replies, all of them separated by hours. This is about he same speed things moved in the Universe forum, so I'm left to conclude that the hashtag system is working as well as the old system. In addition, it may even be working better, as threads that fell to page 2 of the flood on bungie.old didn't have much hope, but thanks to what can only be the hashtag system, I've seen more come back. For that reason, I don't think the final iteration of this design should fully omit hashtags, as it addresses an issue that the old format never could.
