Fair enough you wish to make a profit from making maps, you're only human. But please don't get drawn into the idea of denying your customers the opportunity to wait 3/4 months out to recieve the maps for free. You don't need to. If you have put half as much effort into this game as you have suggested on your updates, then Halo3 multiplayer is going to be fantastic. (The Beta certainly suggested so anyway in my opinion.) So have faith that the money you are going to make from Map sales will be due to your customers actually wanting to play these maps as opposed to people buying your products simply hoping to keep up with their friends online who have already done so.
