[i]Halifax sat on his throne, fingering through his short, black beard. He was anxiously awaiting the arrival of the artifact, the shipment was several days late, and he had heard roumors of the shipment being stolen. He highly doubted that his on men would steal the artifact, mainly because he had put Sabaton as the commander of that mission. Sabaton was an accomplished adrodicus footsoldier, and a brilliant tactician. No, if the artifact was stolen, it had to have been something able to take on an adrodicus flagship, possibly a large group of space pirates... "My leige?" asked one of his servants. "Oh, yes, what is it?" "A vistor, sir.", the servant replied. "Fiurha?" Halifax asked. "Yes, my leige." "Good! send her in!" Halifax said exitedly. The door opened. "Fiurha, my daughter! what news have you brought me?" Halifax asked cheerfully. "It's nice to see you again father." Fiurha said, sounding equally happy, "but" she said, dramatically grim, "Your flagship is gone...destroyed." Halifax was astonished, his flagship...destroyed! with the artifact! he could only slump in his chair and blink at Fiurha, and hope that this was her idea of some cruel, sick joke, but she knew how much the artifact meant to him. "Plus..." she said, with a sudden change back to her happy self, "we have video footage from inside the flagship!" (Halifax gave her a look that said, "What?!! The last thing I want to see is the THAT!!!) "Oh!, don't worry, the artifact is still safe!" she said quickly. Fiurha pressed a button on a monitor closeby. A picture of the inside of the flagship sprang to life, Halifax recognised that room, it was where the artifact was supposed to be held. The patrol adrodicii were making their usual patrol rounds. "This was a minute before they boarded the ship." she said, and fastforwarded the tape a bit. "After the humans boarded, the adrodicii in the artifact room were told to stay where they were and gaurd the artifact, now watch this..." A dark figure stepped into view, and the gaurds fired at the figure, who dodged with extreme speed. The figure pulled out a pair of pistols, ran up the wall, and returned fire, the figure shot so precise, that he hit one of the grenades on one of the gaurd's belts, eliminating them all. The figure stepped up to the artifact, looked around and saw the camera. He lifted his gun, and the tape went blank.[/i]
